**About The Role**

Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the MSS Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day field operations, enforcing, and adhering to company policies and procedures, following appropriate dispatch protocols as required, and providing support to employees with training and goal setting.

**Position Details**

Position Status: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Red Deer, AB

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Administrative_
- Providing supervision and engaging leadership while supporting employees with training and goal setting
- Assisting the Field Operations Manager with the hiring of field personnel
- Monitor daily efficiencies and continuing to look for areas of improvement
- Responsible to oversee field utilization
- Maintain knowledge of current operations for work schedules, personnel head counts
- Responsible for the dispatching of ongoing jobs to available personnel/contractors
- Responsible for adhering, enforcing, and demonstrating all company policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE, hazard ID process, and quality process
- Provide on-the-job training to new and existing employees following company mandated work instructions
- Facility Management_
- Ensure housekeeping standards are met within the work areas
- Field Operations_
- Responsible to assist the Field Operations Manager in everyday duties in shop and/or field
- Providing field technical support as required in coordination with the Field Operations Manager
- Working with engineering on the Implementation of product development for the release of new products, and coordinating implementation with the field personnel (IE training)
- Troubleshoot field issues and communicate with the on-site rep to complete tasks efficiently

**Required Abilities, Knowledge, and Experience**
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in coil tubing/frac/drilling rigs
- Able to demonstrate experience as a supervisor in the oil and gas sector
- Strong understanding of job hazard assessments, with a safety-first mindset
- Able to explain the necessary equipment processes
- Experienced with providing clear and concise communications
- Able to effectively engage and lead a team
- Able to demonstrate basic to intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
