**Your opportunity**:
The Office of Professional & Lifelong Learning (PLL) is a new strategic office supporting academic units across the Faculty to build, market and deliver upskilling and lifelong learning opportunities.

The PLL Office focuses on developing and facilitating high quality programs aimed at supporting the university’s goals of expanding learning opportunities beyond traditional classroom learning. The Office facilitates the provision of new and innovative learning opportunities that leverage the strengths of the Faculty of Arts & Science and that support adult learner development to meet the needs of a changing workforce and evolving and emerging economies.

Reporting to the Associate Director, the Data and Reporting Administrator plays a key role within the PLL Office. This role oversees data collection and reporting for a federally funded upskilling program, which is being led by the Data Sciences Institute (DSI). The Administrator will collaborate with team members to collect data from Certificate participants and employer partners. The Administrator determines best methodologies for data retrieval and manipulation, ensures efficient data collection, and tracks employment outcomes post-program. An essential aspect of this position involves working with the DSI team to optimize data-related processes and outputs. The Data and Reporting Administrator role is integral in the collection and reporting of accurate data to meet the funding requirements and enhance the overall program success.

**Note: this is a term position to March 2025.**

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Overseeing the data collection and analysis processes
- Assessing and determining methodologies for data retrieval and manipulation
- Researching and identifying new software solutions to improve workflow
- Providing detailed information on data analysis findings to stakeholders
- Identifying and introducing variations to established administration processes
- Tracking the status of business development initiatives, activities and outcomes
- Tracking program metrics to inform continuous service improvements
- Coordinating tasks for projects and other strategic initiatives with stakeholders

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Advanced College Diploma (3 years) or acceptable combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum three years of recent and relevant experience with data management, reporting, and analysis.
- Proven experience developing and managing complex databases, with a strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
- Experience with CRM platforms including customization, management, and utilization to drive business objectives. Experience integrating CRM systems with other tools and platforms.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience explaining data analytics to decision makers and non-technical users, probing for information to establish needs and responding to requests, and communicating data query requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team; demonstrates initiative and creativity to effectively engage with stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills to be able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience managing effective relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders (e.g. employers, alumni, students, staff, faculty).
- Ability to manage conflicting demands, problem-solve and work well under pressure.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience training varying levels of end-users on systems and draftinguser guides.
- Must show evidence of a commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and the promotion of a respectful and collegial learning and working environment.
