Handyman/woman

We are a reputable renovation and maintenance company seeking a skilled handyperson to join our team. As a handyperson your vital role will encompass providing a varied skill set to our clients related to residential and commercial construction, renovations and maintenance repairs. Responsibilities Include:

- Investigate and troubleshoot repairs (cause and remedy)
- Perform corrective course of action to correct issues
- Conduct general repairs and maintenance tasks (carpentry, painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC system maintenance)
- Assist in renovation projects (framing, flooring, tiling, painting, finishing)
- Identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during projects and provide effective solutions
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
- Ensure proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Mandatory end of day reporting through company utilized software
- Adhere and implement safety protocols and regulations at all times

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of proven experience as a handyperson or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting and general repairs)
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools required for assigned tasks
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable workmanship
- Effective communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Valid drivers licence and reliable transportation
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening if required
- Basic set of tools

This position is part time leading to full time depending on skills and company fluidity.

Please note that there may be times where after hours work is needed as we do work with commercial businesses that require maintenance to be completed after or before business hours.

Own tools and vehicle is required.

Pay: $25.00-$55.00 per hour
