Summer Aquatic Head Guard

The Township of North Huron Recreation Department is seeking full-time, seasonal employee(s) to assist with summer recreation activities.

The following positions to be filled are:
**SUMMER AQUATIC HEAD GUARD (1) - AQUATIC INSTRUCTOR/GUARD (3)**

We are seeking positive, outgoing, team oriented, professional individuals to fill the above-mentioned positions. Duties include: Planning, implementing, and conducting summer swim lessons, providing safe and enjoyable drop-in aquatic programs, and maintaining proper pool records in accordance with Ontario Health Regulations.

**Qualifications for Employment - Head Guard (wage $17.11-$21.39)**
- Current National Lifeguard, LSS Swim Instructors, and Standard First Aid with CPR C & AED
- Current AQX or Aquafit certification
- Available to work full-time hours in June, July and August
- Previous experience working for the Township of North Huron for at least 12 months is an asset
- Experience with supervising a staff team, providing behavioral strategies for adults, children and youth of various ages and abilities while problem solving and providing excellent customer service
- Valid/Current Vulnerable Sector check required

**Qualifications for Employment - Instructor/Guard (wage $15.75-$18.53)**
- Current National Lifeguard, LSS Swim Instructors, and Standard First Aid with CPR C & AED
- Available to work full-time hours in July and August (Instructor/Guard)
- Experience planning and conducting LSS Swim Program, guarding busy recreational swims, and working with adults, children and youth of various ages and abilities
- Valid/Current Vulnerable Sector check required
