**Summary**:
The Systems Administrator administers, develops, runs tests on, implements, and maintains ZOOK’s operating systems and related software. Provides level 1 & 2 support to end users along with maintenance and troubleshooting on Microsoft Windows workstations and servers in a multi-location environment and maintains the integrity and security of a company's computer system network and the systems connected to it. A flexible work schedule is required for providing support to U.S., Canadian & international business units/locations, as well as remote users in home office environments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Troubleshooting and providing technical support to employees/system users.
- Schedules, plans, and performs system upgrades, including coordinating the transition from test to production environments.
- Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.
- Recommends hardware and software upgrades according to growth statistics and disk space forecasts.
- Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and, when necessary, performs data recoveries.
- Installs, changes, and repairs minor problems of personal computer hardware and software systems, and gives technical assistance and training to system users.
- Troubleshoots network problems and enhances performance for users via performance tuning.
- Implements secure network access protocols and monitors and evaluates them for issues.
- Utilizes documentation and record keeping skills.
- Conducts relevant training sessions and provides helpful references and support in order to prepare users to utilize the network safely.
- Creating and managing system permissions and user accounts.
- Performing regular security tests and security monitoring.
- Maintaining networks and network file systems.
- roubleshooting and providing technical support to employees.
- Work closely with the IT Manager to support and maintain data and network systems.
- Level 1-2 end user support - Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017.
- Provide hardware and software support, along with training to end users.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- LAN/WAN/VPN maintenance, support and troubleshooting.
- Identify security issues.
- Monitor & maintain Backup, Disaster & Recovery systems.
- Support and maintain VOIP telephone systems.
- Office 365 support.
- Keeps current on knowledge in field of expertise; participates in relevant educational opportunities such as live classes and webinars, reads professional publications, networks with other professionals, and maintains active memberships in professional organizations.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desire to learn and master new tasks and responsibilities.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a support role, along with Microsoft Windows systems and network experience.
- Associate degree in an IT-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A+ certification, MCSE a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.

- MS Windows operating system - Workstations and Servers.
- Office365 Support with SharePoint and Exchange focus.
- ERP system support (knowledge of MS Dynamics NAV a plus).
- SQL Database administration.
- BDR systems monitoring and administration.
- New user setup & removal.
- Microsoft Active Directory.
- Hardware & software diagnostics & troubleshooting.
- Help desk.
- Maintain network documentation.
- Firewalls (Sonicwall), bandwidth management.
- Networking (Switches, VLANs, LAGs, LAN, WLAN, WAN, DMZ,).
- Hyper-V virtualization technology.
- Security Administration.
- PBX IP phone system (Switchvox preferred).
- GFI Archiver.
- Solidworks support.
