Automotive Prepper

## Duties
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Assist mechanics in the disassembly and reassembly of vehicle parts as required for painting and repair.
- Perform heavy lifting duties to move vehicles or parts within the shop as needed.
- Ensure all prepping tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and within the specified time frames.
- Maintain a clean and organized paint booth and work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with other duties in the body shop as assigned by supervisors or management.

# Experience
- Experience as an Automotive Prepper or similar role within a body shop environment, with a preference for experience as a mechanic or in a dealership setting.
- Proficiency in sanding, masking, priming, and preparing surfaces for painting.
- Strong ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks in a shop environment.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and procedures is a significant advantage.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy work area and adhere to safety protocols.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
