**CLERK STENOGRAPHER III (BAND LEVEL 4)**

(Contractual Position until December 8, 2023)

The Marine Institute of Memorial University is a technically oriented education, training and applied research institution. Academic and Student Affairs (ASA) works collaboratively with various areas of the Marine Institute to develop and implement the Institute's retention and student success strategies. The Office of Career Integrated Learning (OCIL) within ASA facilitates student work placements and career support for MI students.

**DUTIES**
The successful applicant will perform administrative duties that require initiative and judgment in support of the operations of the Office of Career Integrated Learning. Duties include providing support associated with facilitating the student placement process; engaging with students and responding to student enquiries; assisting employers with job posting, on campus and virtual recruitment process; assisting staff in OCIL with implementing student and employer support programming; maintaining all student records; supporting OCIL's website updates; preparing and sending correspondence and other documents; maintaining electronic and hard copy documents for OCIL's Quality System; preparing forms (i.e. purchase orders, cheque requisitions, invoices); and performing other related duties as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**SALARY: $39,252 to $55,043 per annum (NAPE Local 7850)**
