Milking Position

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Perform milking duties using automated milking equipment while ensuring the comfort and safety of the cows.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of milking equipment and facilities to adhere to health regulations.
- Monitor the health and well-being of cows during milking, reporting any concerns to management.
- Assist in the feeding and care of livestock outside of milking hours.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery used in the milking process, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
- Participate in routine maintenance tasks around the farm as needed.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a farming or agricultural environment is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting and operating farm machinery effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks associated with animal care and equipment handling.
- Familiarity with dairy operations or livestock management will be considered an asset.
