Technician for Exterior Cleaning and Gardening

**Gardening**

Duties include:
Weeding, pruning, edging, mulching, leaf blowing/raking, some planting, string trimming, assisting with seasonal planting displays.

**Requirements**:
Garden maintenance experience is an asset, but we will train the right individual.

Must have a minimum of G2 drivers license, and an ability to get to the starting job location.

Criminal background check required.

Must be capable of basic plant identification.

Hardworking, punctual, keeps tools organized.

Must be able to work in all weather conditions, lift 50 lbs, job involves repeated bending and kneeling.
- Ability to use small gas powered equipment

- Experience pruning shrubs
- Garden design sense

**Technician for Window Cleaning, Exterior Cleaning, Gardening and Property Maintenance Company**

We are looking to employ dedicated and hard-working Technicians to our team. We are a fast growing, full service cleaning company. Looking for team members to help in any of the following areas of our business:
Window Cleaning

Blind Installation

Eaves Trough Cleaning

Power washing

Soft Washing

Exterior Light Installation (Christmas Lights, Patio Lights)

Gardening

**Window Cleaning and Eaves Trough Cleaning**
- Using hand held and water-fed poles to clean windows
- Removing dirt and grime from windows and glass
- Ensuring that all equipment is kept in good working order
- Clearing Debris from eaves troughs

**Pressure Washing and Soft Washing**
- Check the equipment to make sure you have an adequate water supply and that it is working properly
- Operate pressure washer and soft washing machinery to clean various surfaces
- Inspect the surface area after the washing to ensure it is clear of dirt and debris
- Clear the job site and store all hoses and equipment correctly
- You must know how to operate a high-pressure washing system to clean large areas, such as buildings, walkways and driveways

**Installing Lighting**

Installing lighting or the holidays on homes and trees, for special events such as wedding and for backyards and patios

**Custom Blinds**

Measuring and Installing custom blinds

**General**
- Valid Criminal Record Check
- You should be knowledgeable of health and safety regulations.
- Working from Heights or Platform training is a benefit
- Valid driver's license
- Willing to drive to various work locations
- Previous experience an asset
- The ability to work at different heights
- The ability to work in all weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Exceptional Customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Reliable and Punctual
- Able to stand extended periods, lift at least 35 pounds, physically fit
- Work well alone or as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.70 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
