As our company continues to grow, we seek to add experienced team members in a variety of positions within our construction division.

We are currently seeking to add experienced crew leaders and skilled team members. These positions will effectively lead or work within a landscape construction team, involved in all areas of landscaping such as hardscaping, softscaping, and custom elements. You will work closely with a Project Manager on a day-to-day basis to outline daily tasks. These positions offer full time hours on a yearly basis.

Job Role:
Lead or work within a landscape construction crew with experience in hardscaping (paving stone, concrete, etc.), spoftscaping (planting, tree install, mulch, etc.) and custom elements (water features, artificial turf, landscape lighting, etc.).

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 5 License and vehicle to commute to our shop in St. Andrew’s
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Ability to work manual labour for 10-12 hours per day
- A positive attitude
- 2+ years of experience leading or working within a landscape construction crew

Daily Tasks Include:

- Safely working with and around heavy equipment ( skid steer, excavators, compaction equipment)
- Read an interpret landscape plans in the English language
- Manage sites effectively using cloud based software systems
- Moving landscape materials with wheel barrows around a job-site
- Installing hardscape features such as paving stone, retaining walls, etc.
- Installing softscape features of a project such as plants, trees, sod
- Operating concrete saws, blowers, packers, etc.
- Working with construction hand tools and small engine equipment
- Oversee and manage or work within teams installing extensive landscape projects
- Assist in training junior staff members

**Required Skills**:

- Work effectively alone and as a team
- Ability to lead (crew leaders only)
- Communicate freely with other staff members
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Utilize cloud based software program for hour and material tracking on site
- Ability to lift 55+ lbs
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to communicate with clients on project worksites
- Excellent problem solving skills

Length of Employment:

- Full time from approx. April 1 - Dec. 1
- Part-time and full-time employment available in Winter completing snow removal or carpentry work

Expected Hours:

- Monday to Friday
- Weather and schedule may require some Saturday work.
- 10-12 hours per day

Compensation:

- Starting wage of $25-$40/hr based on experience and skill set
- Paid overtime
- Year End Bonus

**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
