**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The Corporation of the City of Orillia is seeking a full-time IT Analyst - Critical Business Systems in the Business Development, Tourism and Modernization Division of the Corporate Services Department. The successful applicant will lead and contribute to challenging, and creative initiatives and support critical business systems as part of the IT team.

**DUTIES**
- Select, support, enhance, leverage, and install existing and emerging enterprise I.T. systems such as the CityWide Asset Management System (AMS), Work Order Tracking System, Planning, Permitting and Licensing Systems (PPLS), Financial Management/Human Resource systems, ESRI/ARC GIS, the Corporate Website (Orillia.ca) and Microsoft Office 365 including SharePoint EDRMS, Intranet, Teams Phones, and Power BI.
- Support, troubleshoot, and seek opportunities to enhance and implement standard software tools such as Adobe, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, Intune, Azure/AWS etc.
- Develop and implement improvements to information technology tools and processes including preparing scripts, group policies, power automate and power BI workflows and other productivity tools.
- Provide governance throughout the IT Project lifecycle. Develop and monitor detailed project schedules and budgets. Work with external project managers to implement new systems.
- Gather business requirements, prepare RFPs/RFQs, evaluate options and select, and acquire hardware and software.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Three to four years of demonstrated experience supporting, maintaining and implementation of enterprise-level critical systems in a production environment or a combination of related education and experience.
- Demonstrated commitment (through certifications) of proactively maintaining current knowledge of Microsoft products. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 including SharePoint, and Teams. Knowledge and experience using Power BI to automate workflows.
- Excellent interpersonal, report writing, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting with mínimal supervision.
- Must possess a valid class ‘G’ Ontario’s driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- An acceptable Criminal Record Check is required for this position prior to the employment commencement date at the incumbent’s expense.

Compensation for this position is $68,919 to $80,627, based on a 35-hour work week, plus a comprehensive benefits package. The successful applicant will have the flexibility to work from home two days per week. Applications will be accepted until September 6, 2023 at noon.
