**Job description**

Palfinger Inc., a world-wide leading manufacturer of truck mounted knuckle boom cranes, located in Niagara Falls, Ontario, is seeking an **Entry Level Assembly Associate.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assembly of knuckle boom cranes and sub-assemblies
- Build product and sub-assemblies to quality specifications in the timeline provided by the schedule
- Adhere to work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Maintain a safe and clean workstation
- Install electrical components
- Torquing equipment to p-norms
- Assist in ways to improve on safety, quality, efficiency and productivity
- Diagnose and repair issues if they occur and report to Management
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- 1-2 years’ experience in a related field preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
- Demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Good attention to detail
- Proven commitment following Safety Policies
- Basic understanding of computers and math skills
- Basic experience using hand tools and mechanical equipment
- Knowledge of set and use of torque wrench
- Excellent eye/hand coordination
- Ability to multi-task and learn quickly with mínimal supervision
