Our food processing plant is looking for a **Plant-Based** **Cheese Production Supervisor.**

**NOC: 92012**

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the cheese team production activities
- Communicate with team members to ensure quality standards are met during the processing and packaging of the products.
- Work closely with the production manager to execute and maintain our 100% fill rate. With a strong emphasis on quality on every level from preparing the ingredients to finished product.
- Monitor workflow process, help solve problems that may arise unexpectedly and support team members to reach daily and weekly productions goals.
- Make process improvement suggestions to improve production ease and efficiency.
- Have a full understanding of food safety rules and our critical control points to ensure food safety standards are upheld to the highest standard.
- Initiate and foster a spirit of cooperation amongst the production team
- Train or oversee training of employees in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
- Extraordinary eye for detail and commitment to adhering to food safety rules and standards set out by the CFIA and HACCP plan.
- Maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products; control and manage inventory to meet production needs and reduce costs
- Implement changes to production systems and methods of work; maintain equipment maintenance schedules.
- Work closely with the quality control team member to improve inspection system and develop and implement production reporting procedures
- Facilitate corrections for malfunctions within process control points

**Working Conditions**:
This role is very interactive. Building a strong relationship with the production team is of the utmost importance. This role requires office duties but also production support. Requires standing for extended periods, ability to bend, and ability to frequently lift 30 to 50 lbs. and the ability to occasionally work in a cold, refrigerated environment.

**Employment Requirements**:

- Requires professional English reading, writing, and speaking skills

**Education/Certifications/Licenses**:

- Food Safe Level 1 Certificate or HACCP
- First Aid Level 1
- College Diploma, University Degree or equivalent in a related field

**Full-timeHourly Range: $22.00 - $25.00**

**Will pay for training: Food Safe, GMP, HACCP, First Aid**

**Salary**: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
