Summer Bike Camp Counselor

Come join the Pedalheads team this summer We are looking for camp leaders who will run our bike/trail children’s summer camps.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, TRAINING PROVIDED, HIRING CANDIDATES 16+, FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING_

**The Opportunity**: We’re looking for a Bike Instructors for our Summer Camps to join our team. Here’s how this job plays a role:
As a bike instructor you will spend your days outside while inspiring the next generation of cyclists. It’s active, it’s adventurous, it’s fun and it’s incredibly rewarding.

You don’t have to be a bike expert because we provide training for our programs for you to get going in your new role

- Work dates vary based on locations but range from Mid June - End of August

LOCATIONS:


- Wage: $15.75-$17.25

**What **you’d** **be responsible for**

In addition to sharing your ideas on how we can grow, learn and build, in this role, you’ll also be:
Teaching our daily Pedalheads camp programs for children ages 2-12 years

Actively introduce children new bike skills

Ensure the health and safety of children at camp

Act as a positive role model and leader at all times

Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress
s**kills, **knowledge** and experience**

Here are some of the skills/ specifics and experience that are important for this role:
You will be at least 16 years of age by the start of camp

Comfortable leading a group of up to 6 children (training provided)

Committed to keeping our campers safe

You are energetic, creative, motivated and fun

Hold or willing to get a current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certificate

Criminal record check required for ages 18+

You have access to a bike and helmet and are able to ride a bike proficiently
