Journeyman/woman Sprinkler Fitter

Aspru Jobs Agency Ltd. is seeking a Fitters to join our team in Surrey, BC. This is a full-time position, with the potential for overtime.

**Responsibilities**:

- Repair and maintain equipment in the shop
- Perform routine maintenance on all equipment, including regular cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of parts
- Perform more advanced repairs on all types of equipment, including:

- Motorized tools and equipment
- Hydraulic tools and equipment
- Electrical tools and equipment
- Hand tools and power tools
- Fabrication and assembly of various products, including watercrafts, boats, kayaks, inflatables, etc.
- Work with project managers to ensure that all work is documented in the project’s drawings and specifications.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more at a time. Lifting up to 75 pounds is required on occasion. Lifting above 75 pounds requires good strength and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions. We do not have a garage or rain shelter at this time so please be prepared to wear a rain suit when it’s raining out. We do have a few umbrellas that we can provide as well as plenty of gloves and other tools we can provide as well. We do not have power tools so you will need to bring your own power tools as well as any metal or wood cutting tools you may need to cut your repairs with. Also, this position does not require working with any chemicals so you will not need any welding experience but we do provide basic welding supplies such as gas, wire cutters, etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship, Internship / Co-op

**Salary**: $31.00-$45.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
