As a key member of the Manufacturing team and under the leadership of the Assistant Production Manager, the **Manufacturing Trainer **is responsible to assist with and ensure that onboarding and training initiatives are going to plan and meeting company target objectives. The Manufacturing Trainer will also ensure direction and coaching in leadership development and process improvement/Kaizen activities. Support during audit will also be required to help with closure of open items identified and support areas of improvement.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Completes daily technical training on the floor to assist with the certification of team members and core competencies
- Design and develop training programs
- Assist with conducting company-wide training needs assessments and identify skills or knowledge gaps
- Partners with team leaders and supervisors to support new hire orientation/onboarding training as needed
- Assist with tracking, evaluating and measuring training utilizing standardized systems
- Support site specific technical learning solutions and creation of documentation
- Develop, build and maintain relationships with trainees and leaders in their new roles
- Conduct training on all shifts as needed
- Influence and develop safety and quality mindset
- Train the trainer for Crane and Forklift
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 Years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (Automotive preferred) and/or demonstrated work experience/internal training/testing.
- Understanding and experience with ISO9001 and ISO/TS 16949 certification systems
- Strong team building and team leadership with experience in a leadership position.
- Strong morals and ethics, along with commitment to staff privacy and company policy
- Ability to identify development needs of employees and provide coaching and mentoring.
- Excellent human relation skills and ability to work with various levels within an organization.
- Licensed for forklift/crane operation preferred.
