**SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR - ORGANIC CONTENT & MEMES**

You’ll also have the support of a collaborative team dedicated to helping you grow as a social media professional.

As a Social Media Coordinator specializing in organic content & memes, your responsibilities include:
**Duties**:

- Creating shareable content that aligns with our brand and resonates with our tech-focused audience.
- Scheduling posts and maintaining a comprehensive content calendar.
- Utilizing editing software like Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro to take your posts to the next level.
- Tracking and evaluating past content performance, presenting and executing strategies that build off of that data.
- Collaborating with our Sales team to develop engaging sponsored posts that connect with our audience.
- Staying up-to-date with internet and meme culture, developing a strong understanding of why certain posts resonate with a wide audience.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of the latest and greatest in tech, particularly when it comes to gaming.

**Job Requirements**:

- A portfolio/social media account which includes memes and/or other content that demonstrate a strong understanding of internet culture. _A strong portfolio can make up for limited/no on-the-job experience._
- A deep knowledge of internet culture and understanding of what makes people resonate with any given piece of content.
- A basic understanding of all major social media platforms and their best practices.
- Strong writing skills.
- A basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
- A proactive “can-do” attitude and willingness to turn feedback into meaningful change (both from the community, and internally).
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and stay organized under tight deadlines.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in regards to how people may react to any given post.
- A genuine passion for technology and gaming.
- A strong understanding of our channels, our content, and our voice
- bonus points if you’re a genuine fan
- An ability to not only work collaboratively, but independently too.

**Assets**:

- Past experience in a social media or content production focused role.
- Proven success in producing viral organic content.
- Proven success in growing social media accounts, whether it be for other brands/organizations, or for yourself.
- Past experience working in brand/creator relationships.
- Strong interpersonal skills.

**Compensation**:
For this position the typical hiring salary range falls between CAD**$55,000** and **$70,000** per year. The base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job related qualifications such as knowledge, skills and experience. LMG's compensation structure is rooted in a performance and merit based approach that acknowledges performance of both the individual and the team.
