Job Title: Community Support Worker

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist and support with daily living activities in their home or in the community
- Provide support and assistance with community integration and participation in social activities
- Liason between our supported individuals and the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction
- Maintain professional relationships with other community service organizations and stakeholders

Qualifications:

- Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License and a reliable vehicle.
- Must provide a driver's abstract
- Experience working with adults with diverse abilities is preferred but not required
- Valid First Aid w/ CPR
- Live in or reliably commute to Nanaimo

Availability:

- Must be available to work Monday to Friday, 9am - 4:30pm (excluding statutory holidays)

**Benefits**:

- Extended Medical and Dental
- Fixed rate reimbursement for KMs driven while working.

**Salary**: From $20.50 per hour
