**Summary of Responsibilities**

The Pricing Analyst will be pivotal in examining market trends, assessing pricing strategies, and offering recommendations to optimize profitability while maintaining a competitive edge. This role demands a deep understanding of pricing methodologies, proficiency in data analysis, and the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- **Pricing Strategy Development**: Develop and refine pricing strategies that align with business objectives. The requires constant review of the gross profit margin (GPM) rate table and subcategory classification. Collaborate with product planning and sales departments to ensure that all parts and accessories are priced competitively for the market.
- **Market Research**: Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing strategies, and market demand to ensure our pricing remains competitive. Provide insights into pricing opportunities and risks.
- **Financial Modelling & Data Analysis**: Develop and analyze financial models to evaluate how pricing adjustments affect revenue, margins, and overall profitability. Perform scenario analysis to explore potential pricing outcomes and assess various market conditions.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with sales, marketing, product planning and finance teams to gather input and ensure alignment on pricing initiatives.

**Education Requirements and/or Experience Requirements**
- **Degree/Diploma**:Bachelor’s degree in finance or business, MBA preferred
- **Program of Study**:Business, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics
- **Years of Experience**:3-5 years in pricing or financial analysis
- **Type of Experience**:Pricing or Financial Analysis

**Skills & Abilities**
- SAP Experience considered an asset.
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
- Quantitative analysis including the ability to build robust data models.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
