We are seeking a full time Personal Chef/ Health & Wellness Manager to work in a formal residence in Toronto.

**General Duties**:

- Maintain cleanliness in all common areas
- Take inventory of all supplies and replenish
- Keep property safe and in habitable condition
- Manage budget and maintain financial reports/records
- Other duties as discussed and assigned

**Personal Chef Responsibilities**:

- Conferring with clients to determine meal preferences, specifications, food allergies, and dietary restrictions
- Preparing customized meal plans for clients based on their preferences, specifications, and dietary needs
- Shopping for meal ingredients as well as necessary kitchen tools and equipment. Inspecting meal ingredients before making purchases to ensure that they are of the highest quality
- Preparing meals in clients’ kitchens in accordance with food health and safety regulations. Cleaning and sanitizing work areas before and after meal preparation
- Appropriately packaging and labeling prepared meals that are to be consumed at a later date.
- Providing clients with written or verbal instructions on how to heat meals

**Health & Wellness Manager Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement and direct health and safety programming using your knowledge of health standards, safety protocols and wellness principles
- Set training and education goals to increase overall wellness of all family members and staff
- Discuss meal preferences, expectations and goals according to health guidelines
- Research organic, vegan keto and paleo friendly food suppliers
- Order locally sourced health ingredients & materials needed for meal preparation
- Examine meals for order accuracy and freshness
- Cook delicious meals according to your client’s schedule

**Qualifications required**:

- Previous related experience required with excellent skills in nutritional, dietary food restrictions and holistic meal preparation
- Flexibility to work on holidays and ability to organize and manage special events.
- Diploma in Culinary Arts or Chef Certificate required
- Food Handling Certificate required
- Excellent customer service experience and skills
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and in writing
- Excellent organisation, planning and time management skills
