Farm Operator

GJ Cattle & Crop Inc. is seeking to hire experienced farm operators to join our team. We are a large-scale, modern, family farming business with cattle, grain and trucking enterprises. We are looking for employees who are reliable, experienced, motivated, and will contribute to the positive work environment on our farm.
- Must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license. A 1A license is an asset.
- Has experience operating air seeders, sprayers, combines and a general working knowledge of equipment.
- Able to work independently and is efficient with their time.
- Reliable and able to work long days for an extended period of time.
- Able to perform physical labour when needed.
- General mechanical knowledge is an asset.

Duties Include:

- Operating farm equipment including sprayers, air seeders, haying equipment, combines, augers, etc.
- Performing basic equipment maintenance and repair.
- Operating GPS-enabled equipment
- Assisting with day to day farming operations.
- Hauling grain/fertilizer when needed.
- Able to perform physical labour as required

Starting date is flexible and dependent on skillset.

Seasonal and full time positions available

**Salary**: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
