**Responsibilities**:
- Provide administrative support to the Manager and Supervisor of Cemeteries.
- Responsible for providing a high level of customer service. As the first point of contact for the majority of cemetery customers you will be required to be knowledgeable in a wide variety of areas within the bereavement industry and assist with the provision of a multitude of key tasks.
- Responsible for meeting with families to discuss cemetery options, products and services, completion of sale and associated paperwork.
- Responsible for utilizing cemetery system for general inquiries, entering payments, producing reports and certificates.
- Respond to inquiries from bereavement industry partners (e.g., funeral homes, monument dealers) providing accurate information.
- Responsible for utilizing the cemetery system and other resources to receive, input information and distribute the paperwork required for the completion of interments and maintenance work.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate cemetery records and ensuring required documents are received.
- Responsible for selling and booking events at the Dedication Centre.
- Completion of cemetery sales in the cemetery system.
- Completion of cemetery administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and photocopying.
- Responsible for receiving, entering, and verifying orders for memorialization.
- Utilizing the cemetery system to generate invoices and mailings pertaining to accounts receivable.
- Utilizing SAP to input accounts payable and for reviewing cemetery accounts.
- Completion of various types of presentations and duties for special events.
- Responsible for edits and uploading sales material to the cemetery website.
- Completion of daily requirements pertaining to balancing payments and entering deposits into the deposit slip system.
- Completion of weekly time entry into People Soft and maintenance of accurate Personnel reports.
- Receiving, verifying against bylaws and cemetery system, and processing of foundation orders.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma with 6 months related experience.
- Valid MTO full class ‘G’ driver license in good standing and have access to a personal vehicle to travel between locations.
- Must be proficient in the use of software packages such as Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint.
- Must have a high level of accuracy and well-developed keyboard skills.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
- Must have excellent organization skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines and proven ability to work independently.
- Ability to deal with competing priorities; anticipate needs, gather, and compile information as requested; maintain accurate records.
- Must have excellent public relations and sales skills.
- Must have highly developed coping skills to deal with emotional and stressful situations.
- Must be available to work various hours including evenings and weekends.
- Preference will be given to staff possessing experience with the City of Kitchener deposit slip system.
- Preference will be given to staff possessing experience with SAP in accounts payable module.
- Must be reliable with a good attitude and employment record.
