**Shift**
4 x 10-hour shifts
Thursday to Sunday

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Primary
- Provide direct supervision of, assign duties to, and generally lead warehouse employees.
- Oversee and coordinate receiving, picking, packing, and shipping duties.
- Coordinate closely with production shift leadership during shifts.
- Ensure timely and efficient material transfer to and from production.
- Carry out receiving, picking, packing, and shipping duties.
- Assist in conducting cycle counts, and ad hoc inventory counts.
- Execute daily operational tasks provided by warehouse management.
- Escalate operational or personnel issues to warehouse management.
- Perform quality check on received products.
- Ensure warehouse is kept clean and tidy, including leaving proper space in aisles.
- Provide warehouse management with daily shift reports.
- Oversee warehouse operations in the absence of warehouse managers.
- Enforce safety standards in the warehouse with all employees, regardless of department or level.
- Report safety violations to warehouse management.
- Follow all applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain safety, quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in and provide suggestions for the development and continuous improvement of all departmental processes
Additional
- Check all major equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks regularly and report repairs to maintenance.
- Ensure all facility damage is reported immediately to maintenance and warehouse management.
- Participate in and further the Company’s health & safety program.
- Report equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Report quality deficiencies immediately.
- Manage special projects as required.
- Other related duties.
**Qualifications**
Knowledge
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
- 3 years of experience working in a warehouse.
- 1 year of experience supervising others.
- Forklift certification.
Assets
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
**Skills**:
- Willingness to learn.
- Proficient in the basics of mathematics (adding and subtracting).
- Basic proficiency in using computers.
- Basic proficiency in using the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving.
- Strong time management.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Good external client service.
- Good internal client service.
- Good influencing of both colleagues and leadership.
- Strong in working with people and relationship building.

Abilities
- Lift a minimum of 25 kg.
- Work independently on assigned duties.
- Balance a variety of competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
**Health**
- Must be in good health with no communicable diseases or dust allergies.
- Must wear approved non-slip safety shoes.
- Must follow appropriate gowning procedure before going into production area.
- Follow health & safety regulations.
