The DougallMedia Brand Ambassador is the best form of advertising for the radio stations. The Street Team is composed of Brand Ambassadors, and is a reliable group of individuals who have specific interests in promotions, have strong people skills and who would gladly approach strangers to strike up a conversation. The ideal Brand Ambassador is outgoing, enjoys a fun working environment, loves talking to people and can work in a team. Brand Ambassadors can be called upon to represent 91-5 CKPR as the CKPR Crew and Rock 94 as the Rock Roadies at different events around town.

This is a part-time position where Brand Ambassadors will work as the CKPR Crew and Rock Roadies, representing the company professionally with positive attitudes and providing support to any and all station-related events (clients, community, special events, etc.). The Brand Ambassador will be required to do cut-ins on the radio stations as required. Brand Ambassadors will follow instructions, set-up event equipment, assist the Radio Personality onsite, engage with event attendees, facilitate a fun and exciting experience, answer any questions listeners may have and promote whatever is required by the station with direction from the Manager of Marketing & Promotions and Events Coordinator. This duration for this position is from early May until mid-September.

Qualifications:

- Must have a G license and reliable vehicle to get to events
- People oriented, friendly, respectful, and responsible individual with common sense, ability to adjust to different environment and situations, be proactive and helpful
- Must be able to lift/carry/set-up minimum 50lb equipment on your own
- Must have a flexible schedule and be available weekends/evenings/holidays

- Problem solver

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Represent, and execute station appearances on the street, at events, concerts, festivals, client locations, etc.
- Perform on-location broadcast reports
- Comply with uniform standards
- Arrive on time and ready to work with a positive attitude
- Set up and break down of station event equipment, i.e. tables, tents, booths, banners, etc.
- Follow directions and supervision from the Manager of Marketing & Promotions and Events Coordinator
- Communicate effectively with listeners, potential clients, sponsors, and anyone who approaches you with inquiries. Understand the mission of every event and execute with professionalism
- Reach out to and engage with listeners and create a memorable experience and a positive image of the station you are representing. Be approachable and comfortable talking to strangers
