**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to assess students’ career aspirations and challenges.
- Educate students on job search strategies, resume writing, and interview preparation.
- Develop and implement training programs that enhance clients' employability skills.
- Assist students in identifying suitable job opportunities through effective recruiting techniques.
- Provide ongoing support and resources to help students navigate their career paths successfully.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.
- Collaborate with local businesses and organizations to create internship and job placement opportunities.
- Research, identify ,recruit and develop relationships with prospective employer-partners through cold calls, employer site visits, networking events, and engagement with community stakeholders.
- Maintain relationships with employer partners regarding available job postings, and contact employers about positions applied for by students.
- Monitor and track successful hires with employer partners during the work experience component
- Communicate with various program instructors to determine the success of work placements, and support the instructors in addressing barriers to long-term employment
- Refer clients to appropriate community services to address potential barriers or issues to successful long-term employment
- Keep program instructors abreast of employment-focused activities offered in the community to enhance the program (Ex. presenters, workshops, site visits, job fairs)
- Work closely with the school’s marketing team to evaluate and assess outreach, recruitment, and promotional marketing to ensure employer and student satisfaction.
- Write reports to program funders periodically and present outcomes in conferences if requested
- Regularly report to the Program Director about issues and provide feedback to enhance positive program outcomes
- Others as requested

**Experience**
- Proven experience in recruiting, training development, or interviewing is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse individuals.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A background in counseling, human resources, or related fields is advantageous.
