**Job Description**:
Reporting to the PMO Team Lead and in collaboration with the Customer Facing PM (CFPM), the Project Manager will be responsible for successful planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of MV & LV power control projects at the Rockwell Cambridge production facility.

This role is responsible for providing oversight and direction on the factory floor for all assigned orders/projects throughout the entire project cycle from project kick-off to successful completion and shipment. You will work closely with scheduling, planning, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, development, and operations to accomplish the above and keep the CFPM in the loop and updated.

Functional Duties:

- Responsible for leading all elements of multiple projects on the production floor including planning and implementation of the project plan, facilitating project scope, schedule, goals, and deliverables.
- Work with CFPM to develop project schedules, budgets, and timelines, constantly ensuring milestones are on track, and notifying the relevant departments and supervisors of any deviations or bottlenecks as appropriate.
- Routinely provide direction and support to internal teams assigned to a particular project by identifying issues that impact cost, schedule, or delivery status.
- Responsible for coordinating and leading meetings with internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with purchasing and planning for receipt of vendor supplies as per project requirements.
- Utilize Project Management tools and processes to track the progress and movement of the project through the various stages.
- Maintain regular and ongoing communication with the CFPM regarding the scope and status of the Project.
- Identify any challenges or potential blockers to achieving project milestones and goals and implement solutions accordingly.
- Provide visibility of manufacturing progress and project issues to CFPM
- Attend burndown / production meetings and provide regular updates to CFPM
- Help track shipless parts/units.
- Provide change order related information to CFPM
- Follow up with the CFPM to ensure accurate information is updated in ERP / tracking systems i.e. project milestones are not past due, miscellaneous items are closed, ship date updates, shipping instructions, shipment release requirements etc.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree
- Legal authorization to work in country is required. We will not offer sponsorship for this position now or in the future for this job opening

Preferred Qualifications:

- 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Business Operations, or Project Management preferred.
- PMP designation is an asset.
- Typically requires a minimum 2 years of experience in engineering or project management in an ETO manufacturing environment.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to successfully communicate, cooperate and engage with internal and external team members, vendors.
- Sound analytical, proactive, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Keen attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to respond appropriately to pressure situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Good problem-identification and problem resolution skills.
