**Purpose**:
The Design and Engineering team is comprised of highly skilled and engaged Architects and Engineers. As an integral part of the team, the Draftsperson will be involved in a broad range of projects and activities. **Responsibilities**:

- Draft various building system (Plumbing, HVAC, Hydronics, Electrical, Civil Grading) for new residential rental properties
- Assist with HVAC and Plumbing load calculations.
- Identify and prevent design issues, propose solutions.
- Coordinate design and work closely with other consultants.
- Works independently and with mínimal supervision
- Assist to address design questions from construction team in real time.
- Prepare site instructions.
- Create as-builts.

**Requirements**:

- English Essential, French is considered an asset.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related field is an asset.
- Relevant work experience in mechanical design, CAD (Computer-Aided Design), and product development.

**Role Specific Requirements**:

- Proficiency in using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar tools for creating detailed 2D and 3D models.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design standards.
- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and fabrication techniques.
