**JOB FUNCTION**

The Housing Coordinator is a member of the Administration Team of the Sylvan Lake Foundation with accountability for all housing services offered by the Foundation. This position requires the employee to be able to act as Acting Executive Director. This position reports to the Chief Administrative Officer.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Accountable for the administration function for residents (i.e. waiting list, interviews, etc.)

2. Responsible for liaison between Foundation and residents’ families as necessary.

3. Responsible for implementing the Occupational Health and Safety standards in the housing services area.

4. Responsible for functioning as a member of the Administration Team to insure the smooth and efficient and effective operation of all facets of the day to day operation of the Sylvan Lake Foundation.

5. Responsible for scheduling and supervision of Activity Aid or other staff that may be appropriate (casual, permanent part-time and full-time).

6. Responsible for annual performance appraisal of all supervised staff.

7. Responsible for review of supervised staff on probation and recommendation for hiring.

8. Responsible for documentation, review and submission of dietary payroll data.

9. Responsible to act as Acting Executive Directors when assigned by the CAO.

10. Responsible for other related tasks as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

1. Thorough knowledge of Provincial mandated Seniors Housing Programs.

2. Multiple years of experience in human services

3. Proven leadership skills.

4. Self-motivated team player.

5. Good to excellent computer skills. Familiar with MS Office.

6. FOIP Level 2 preferred

7. Clean Criminal Record Check

8. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $25.85 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
