Maximo/erp Administrator

The NWS is a joint Canada and United States early-warning radar system with 47 sites located in Northern Canada; a Control Centre and Support Centre located in North Bay, ON and a Contract Management Office located in Ottawa, ON.**

Nasittuq is searching for a Maximo / ERP Administrator to join our growing team to provide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems administration, customization, and user support for Nasittuq staff and programs.

This is a **full-time permanent position based in either Ottawa or North Bay, in a hybrid work environment**. The Maximo / ERP Administrator will oversee the operation of the IBM Maximo Application Suite, Oracle, and other ERP business systems. This is a staff-facing role that interacts with people across the organization daily. The role will encompass user account management, custom database query creation for automated reporting, customization of feature sets and data fields, server-side administration, and database management.

**Responsibilities**:

- User account management and troubleshooting support for staff.
- Develop custom reports (BIRT) using SQL database queries.
- Implementation of custom modifications and configurations into production environments.
- Design and configuration of process workflows incorporating alerts, actions and approvals.
- WebSphere Application Server installation and administration.
- System Administration of the IBM Maximo Application Suite: IBM Maximo Asset Management Work Centers, IBM Maximo Calibration, IBM Maximo Asset Management Scheduler, etc.
- Ensure corporate data is secured in accordance with IT security policies.
- Participate in Configuration Control activities and work with managers to coordinate new system requirements and/or configuration changes.
- Establish and deliver MAXIMO training modules from Train-the-Trainer through to the user-level.
- Perform other duties as assigned and required by the organization.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in the information technology field with a minimum of five (5) years' demonstrated industry experience in the design and management of ERP Systems (Maximo, Oracle, SAP, etc).
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge and experience with database management and queries.
- Proven ability to source and implement practical, scalable and efficient technology solutions.
- Experience working in incident response and with the incident management lifecycle.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable with proven ability to work independently.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen, be eligible for and maintain a Level (II) SECRET security clearance.
