**Primary/Essential Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and maintain the blast and paint booth and PPE
- Prepare objects for blast operation according to procedures and instructions
- Monitor the condition of equipment and tooling
- Clean and prep surfaces using such processes as sanding, scraping and grinding
- Application of a protective coating to a variety of metal material surfaces
- Monitor extractors, drying fans and heaters
- Board and mask material
- Ensure all paint related waste is properly labeled, stored and disposed of
- Maintain paint booth and associated equipment to ensure proper working condition
- Ensure job meets all requirement before leaving work cell
- Meet or exceed established production levels
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures
- Inspect all work before passing it on to the next operation
- Follow all health and safety procedures for machinery
- Ensures waste disposal is disposed of following our Health and Safety/Environmental procedures.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
- 1 years’ experience in spray painting and/or blasting in an industrial paint booth environment is preferred
- Past experience reading blueprints
- Experience operating a forklift
- Experience operating overhead crane

**Physical Demands / Working Conditions**:

- Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs
- Pushing and pulling
- Frequent bending, squatting, standing and walking
- Frequent use of various hand and power tools
