**Résumé du poste**

Sous la responsabilité de la direction du programme Paysages fonctionnels et travaillant en étroite collaboration avec la direction du programme du Sud-Ouest, la personne retenue assure la coordination et la mise en œuvre des activités identifiées dans les plans de conservation des aires naturelles de la région de Milk River Basin et des pâturages communautaires du Manitoba et de la Saskatchewan, ainsi que d’autres programmes de conservation. Le ou la chargé(e) de projets travaillera au sein de l’équipe des paysages fonctionnels pour fournir aux partenaires et autres parties prenantes une démonstration sur le terrain de la manière dont l’élevage responsable peut contribuer à obtenir des résultats durables en matière de conservation et de biodiversité. Cela se fera par l’intendance du site phare de CNC en Saskatchewan, qui est aussi son premier ranch en exploitation, l’aire de conservation des prairies patrimoniales Old Man on His Back. De plus, la personne retenue fournira un soutien technique et son expertise à l’équipe des paysages fonctionnels pour la mise en œuvre de programmes d’incitation à l’intendance, la réalisation d’évaluations de santé, la planification de la gestion et l’analyse des lois, politiques et règlements relatifs à la gestion de terres de la Couronne et privées ayant un lien avec des outils de conservation comme les autres mesures de conservation efficaces par zone (AMCEZ). Les responsabilités de la personne qui occupera ce poste varieront tout au long de l’année : activités saisonnières à l’aire de conservation des prairies patrimoniales Old Man on His Back (de mai à octobre) et tâches liées au programme Paysages fonctionnels pour le reste de l’année (de novembre à avril). Le ou la chargé(e) de projets devra établir des priorités pour s'assurer que toutes les activités essentielles sont menées à bien.

**Responsabilités**

**Gestion et administration - 30 %**
- Diriger l’élaboration d’un budget opérationnel annuel et d’un plan de travail pour la mise en œuvre des programmes attribués, ainsi que le contrôle, le suivi et l’établissement de rapports sur les dépenses et les activités liées aux activités d’intendance;
- Apporter son soutien à la direction du programme Paysages fonctionnels dans l’élaboration de budgets opérationnels annuels pour le programme et la planification annuelle du travail d’intendance, le suivi des activités et l’établissement de rapports sur les progrès réalisés;
- Assurer la gestion des projets et de leur documentation, y compris la saisie et le suivi de données dans le SIT;
- Recrutement, embauche et supervision de tout contractant ou personnel saisonnier dont la présence est nécessaire pour aider à la gestion du site, y compris les cavaliers et cavalières de pâturages, la main-d’œuvre générale, etc.;
- Recevoir et codifier les factures émises par les contractant(e)s ou les autres dépenses liées à la gestion du site et les transmettre pour approbation au(x) directeur(s)/directrice(s) du programme;
- Fournir un soutien, formuler des recommandations et assurer le suivi des actifs régionaux, au besoin;
- Former, superviser et soutenir le personnel saisonnier en fonction des besoins et contribuer à la programmation des activités d’intendance dans la région;
- Établir des rapports mensuels sur les heures de travail et la facturation, ainsi que sur les dépenses.

**Sensibilisation et partenariats - 30 %**
- Coordonner la mise en œuvre des programmes d’incitation à l’intendance auprès des participant(e)s admissibles dans le sud-ouest de la Saskatchewan;
- Établir et maintenir des relations positives et productives avec les éleveurs et éleveuses, les voisin(e)s et les autres propriétaires fonciers locaux, les parties prenantes et les détenteur(-trice)s de dro
