Our Millwork Shop plays a key role in creating custom cabinetry and wood products for various construction projects.

**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Cabinet Construction**: Build, assemble, and finish custom cabinets and wood products according to design specifications, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
- **Read Blueprints**: Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to determine the dimensions and materials required for each project.
- **Woodworking Tools**: Safely operate woodworking machinery and hand tools such as CNC, saws, routers, drills, and sanders to cut, shape, and finish wood components.
- **Material Selection**: Choose the appropriate materials (wood, veneers, hardware) for each project and ensure they meet quality standards.
- **Assembly and Installation**: Assemble cabinets and wood components, ensuring accuracy and proper fit. Assist with installation on job sites as needed.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies and perform quality checks to ensure they meet company standards.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the design team, project managers, and other trades to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
- **Maintenance**: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- **Experience**: Minimum 3 years of experience in cabinet making or custom millwork.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in woodworking techniques and tools, including the ability to operate saws, routers, drills, and sanders.
- **Blueprint Reading**: Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- **Attention to Detail**: Excellent eye for detail and precision, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the fabrication or assembly process.
- **Teamwork**: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other team members and stakeholders.
- **Safety Conscious**: Knowledge of and adherence to workplace safety regulations and procedures.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- **Experience with CNC Machines** or other advanced woodworking machinery.
- **Finishing Expertise**: Experience with high-end finishes, such as lacquers, stains, and specialty coatings.
- **Drivers License**: Valid G class license for potential site visits or deliveries.

**Physical Requirements**
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and work with hands in tight spaces.
- Comfortable working in a variety of shop and on-site conditions.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Secondary School (preferred)
