Print Shop

We make customized books. The work is production work, and includes the large variety of tasks that go into making customized books.

The work includes, in production sequence, printing, trimming paper, sorting all the printed pages, punching holes for different binding types, assembling books, binding pages, gluing pages, adding accessories, verifying the quality of each book and packaging the finished product.

IS THIS YOU?
- Enjoy working with your hands;
- Have a background that has to do with making books, or in a print shop or copy-center, or hands-on applied work related to artistic or artisanal work;
- Have a good eye for colours;
- Enjoy working with small mechanical machines and tools;
- Self-managing
- Would prefer a job with no customer contact;
- Comfortable standing for long periods;
THE JOB

A mix of the production tasks listed above that changes daily depending on what needs to be done.

If you like the work and you're good at it, after a while you can become a team leader and receive additional compensation.

We set compensation in proportion to abilities and experience.

No direct previous experience in this field is required, but experience with printing and trimming as part of a well-rounded print shop skill-set is a definite plus. Artistic or hobby hands-on work is also an asset.
