Overnight/morning Bread Baker

Full Service Scratch Bakery is looking to hire a Full-time Bread Baker. This is a Full-time position and involves night/early morning shifts.

Main Job Duties are described below:

- Prioritize cleanliness and healthy standards at all times
- Responsible for proper Scaling, Mixing, Baking, of bread, buns, puff pastry and donuts.
- Keep the work, storage and store areas clean and safe at all times by performing general “housekeeping” as required, including sweeping, mopping and dusting.
- May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.

On occasion you may be asked to perform the following:

- Package, stock and rotate display counters ensuring that product is of high quality and finessed with correct signage.
- Help Customers and answer phone calls on occasion

Qualifications:

- Commercial or personal kitchen/baking experience
- Physical ability to stand long hours and regularly lift 25kg (50 lbs)
- Safe food handling certification required
- Culinary/baking/pastry arts degree/diploma preferred
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to work in a safe and responsible manner
- Work well independently or in a collaborative team environment
- Willingness and availability to work varied shifts which can include; Monday -Thursday 4 am-noon, Fridays 2 am
- till 11 am, Friday overnight starting at 10 pm - 7 am
- Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
- Proven track record as a self-starter; dedicated and goal orientated
- Ability to follow established company policies
- Excellent command of the English language both verbal and written

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
