Job Overview:
Primary Responsibilites:

- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawing, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Preparing layouts in conformance to building codes
- Measuring, cutting, shaping, aseembling and joining materialsn
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as needed

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2-3 years' carpentry experience
- Possess a valid Canadian driver's license and clear driver's abstract
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in an environment of change; must be creative and flexible

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $23.50-$24.83 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 2 years (required)
