Job Summary
Brushing crew member is part of a 4 person team responsible for cutting alder and other plants on all mid to lower elevation runs of the resort. This is seasonal position available from July to October. 40 hours work week runs from Monday to Thursday.
Essential Job Functions
- Running a gas powered brush saw on ski runs
- Running a chainsaw on ski runs
- Follows established working procedures and ensures safe working conditions for himself/herself and the mountain safety staff.
- Has a thorough knowledge of company and department polices as stated in the Emergency Procedures and Safety Program manuals.
- Assists teams during lift evacuations and search and rescue operations as required.
- Acts professionally at all time.
- Interacts positively with guests: Provides accurate information regarding lifts, runs, area facilities/services, operating hours and current events. Handles complaints and resolves situations in a courteous manner.

Required Qualifications and Abilities
- Workers Compensation Board Occupational First Aid Level 1 is an asset
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- On hill training will be provided.
- Knowledge of RMR ski runs is an asset.
