**Job Title**:Allocation Analyst**
**Reports To**: VP, Allocation**:
As the Allocation Analyst, you will be responsible for the execution of the weekly/monthly replenishment, ensuring stores have the right product at the right time. You will also work closely with the Associate Buyer to ensure tasks are done on time and within the expected budget.
**Description of Job Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Management**
- Responsible for replenishment & allocation of inventory
- Lead weekly review of core skus inventory needs by store
- Purchase order maintenance and tracking as well as closing/canceling Po’s
- Builds bulk inventory breakouts for Associate Buyer to approve
- Builds replen PO’s for the Associate Buyer to approve
- Work with Merchandise Planner as needed to ensure proper in-stock levels, balancing store sales to inventory ratio’s and working within Open to Buy
- Use replen tool to help direct PO creation.
- Initiate and manage changes to purchase orders with Associate Buyer approval
- Identifies unproductive inventory (i.e., discontinued, excess, etc.) and works with merchants and the sales channels to sell through this inventory in a timely manner
- Balances inventory required for promotions and seasonal requirements and allocates inventory in advance to ensure inventory is in stock to support sales
- Works with vendors on inventory availability, managing purchase orders and ensuring delivery times are met.
- Recommends core inventory requirements based on a rolling 12 month sales cycle
- Slips inventory over from 500 that is allocated for 513. Follows up with the Merchandise Analyst to ensure new launch product is ready to go live.
- Recommends store grade or MPQ adjustments as needed
**Business Needs**
- Partner with Merchant to plan inventory capacity and replenishment by fixture and for Planogram programs
- Works with stores to ensure timely receipt of shipments
- Assist in the development, coordination and review of merchandise assortments by door
- Collaborate with the store, buyer and planning teams on the implementation of assortment, allocation, space and replenishment strategies
- New store planning - PO creation and vendor follow up to ensure prompt delivery times
- Follow the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checklists are being reviewed and managed
- Works with the logistics team to ensure GT routing guide is followed.
- AP Tool assistance.
**Essential Requirements and Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education (University preferred) with a focus on retail, marketing or finance
- 1-3 years’ work experience in retail planning, buying or merchandising
- Business knowledge of retail inventory management, merchandising concepts and operations
- Proven analytical and problem solving abilities
- Detailed orientated with a sense of urgency to follow-up
- Ability to multi-task and easily adapt to current business trends; ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and passion for the game of golf
