Naomi Dukart Professional Corporation is a growing public practice accounting and tax firm located in the community of Harmony next to the Springbank Airport. Our firm was founded with the goal of bringing a differentiated level of accounting and tax services and offers a personalized, integrated, and collaborative approach to financial well-being for our clients.

We are currently seeking an Accounting Technician to join our team and contribute to our continued success. This position is part-time with excellent long-term potential for our fast growing organization. We offer a small work environment with work life balance including a flexible schedule and hybrid remote work opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation of tax and information returns (T1, T2s, T4s, T5s).
- Preparation of Compilation Engagements including financial statements and all necessary adjustments.
- Bookkeeping for various clients preparing bank reconciliations, payroll calculations, and GST/HST reports using QuickBooks Online.
- Stay updated and ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, industry best practices and company policies.
- Work closely with the business founder on client files and planning matters.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

**Experience**:

- You have previous experience with accounting programs, including Caseware, Jazz-It, QuickBooks Online, TaxCycle.
- You have completed, at minimum, a certificate in Accounting or Business.
- You display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- You have the ability to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks as required.
