The Department of Social Development is seeking qualified individuals to work as Social Workers in various zones across New Brunswick.
**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**:Master's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work.
**NOTICE TO PENDING SOCIAL WORK GRADUATES**:
Written and spoken competence in English AND French is required for some vacancies while other vacancies require written and spoken competence in English OR French. Please state your language capability.
Applicants must clearly demonstrate the essential qualifications to be given further consideration. Please ensure that preferred language for assessment is identified on your resume.
**OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:Some positions require working on weekends, variable hours and having your own means of transportation within the assigned Zone.

**Salary: $64, 558 to $79, 274 per annum**
Applications will be reviewed on a regular basis and interviews will be conducted monthly.
**Applicants must identify one (1) Zone in which they would prefer to be interviewed from the list below**:
- South-East Zone (Moncton, Richibucto, Shediac, Sackville)
- South-West Zone (Saint John, Sussex, St. Stephen)
- Central Zone (Fredericton, Woodstock, Perth-Andover, Miramichi, Neguac)
- Northern Zone (Grand-Falls, Campbellton, Bathurst, Caraquet, Acadian Peninsula, Shippigan)
This competition will be used to fill future vacancies at the same level.
