Seasonal Groundsperson - 2-6 Month Contract

As a Groundsperson on our team, you will report to the property Manager and be responsible for all aspects of cemetery care. Your duties will include landscape maintenance (grass cutting and weeding), grounds maintenance, interments, memorial and monument installations, and customer service. You will do rewarding work while enjoying the outdoors, and you’ll go home knowing your efforts helped to create a special place that is appreciated by many. With over 29 acres of mature land, Glenview Memorial Gardens are proud to serve a majority of the Etobicoke, Woodbridge and surrounding area since 2001. With our expert landscapers, we have created a beautiful cemetery with plenty of flowers, trees, benches and ponds for a peaceful atmosphere. Our helpful, dedicated staff are passionate about supporting families, local associations, religious organizations and cultural groups, and we are honoured to host a series of free memorial events throughout the year.

**What you bring to the role**:

- Enthusiasm for working outdoors.
- Valid Driver’s license (G2 or higher).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Previous landscaping, horticultural and/or cemetery experience is nice to have.
- Landscape equipment operation and mechanical aptitude.

**Salary**: $16.00-$23.00 per hour
