**The Clinical Research Project Assistant **in the Clinical Research Centre works closely with the Clinical Research Coordinator to assist in study operations.

**Here’s What You’ll Get to Do**
- Assist with administrative tasks related to grant and/or manuscript preparation
- Conduct medical literature searches, maintaining literature databases and retrieving articles online
- Perform data management including checking data for accuracy and completeness, scoring data, entering data and data cleaning
- Conduct health chart reviews
- Personal Training of staff
- Conduct exercise testing in children
- Participate in clinical research as well as clinical activities
- Delivery of Wellness Workshops to staff

**Here’s What You’ll Need**
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, with a current Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP) certification (Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of exercise testing and exercise physiology, with some experience working with children
- Previous research experience is preferred
- Ability to function independently yet collaboratively within a team
- Effective communication, interpersonal, facilitation and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Internet and MEDLINE searches)
