A large and complex organization, eHealth is comprised of 30+ clinical and non-clinical program (service) areas that all work together to support health care providers and teams across the province in delivering the best possible care to patients, providers, citizens, and health system users. Programs range from primary care to acute care, and includes laboratories, pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. Additional programs that also support patient care and information, include Virtual Care, the MySaskHealthRecord, and the Provincial Electronic Health Record. eHealth is also responsible for the administration of various pieces of legislation to manage the registration of/changes to all vital event records (e.g. birth, marriage, death, etc.), registration of legal name changes, registration of adoptions, and for maintaining the provincial health registry for health services eligibility and distribution of health services cards.

The eHealth teams engage directly with health system partners and other stakeholders both provincially and federally to ensure all services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

**The role of the Enterprise Architecture Manager at eHealth**
The Manager of Enterprise Architecture reports to the Executive Director of Architecture, Standards & Planning, and provides leadership, knowledge, and direction to employees and the organization and its processes to ensure the services they provide fit with the overall strategic direction of eHealth Saskatchewan and meet or exceed associated business requirements.

Further, this role develops and maintains relationships with partners and IT service suppliers to identify and anticipate new service requirements and opportunities. These relationships involve all organizations in the Saskatchewan Health Sector, specifically: Saskatchewan Health Authority, 3S Health, Saskatchewan Cancer Agency and the Ministry of Health.

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Degree in Business, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, other related equivalent, or related professional designation and certifications from an accredited institution, or years of employment experience equivalent to the above;
- 3 - 5 years previous management experience;
- Relevant leadership experience in a technology oriented role;
- Specific experience or knowledge in building the architecture discipline as well as previous experience in the healthcare or eHealth sectors;

- Navigate and build strong relationships in a large, complex multi-enterprise environment that includes customers with difficult and/or competing needs;
- Accountable for leading strategic planning, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the eHealth Enterprise Architecture team;
- Strong people management and leadership skills to contribute to the technology division goals and objectives in supporting the Saskatchewan health system;
- Strong written and presentational skills; ability to clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences including senior management;
- Flexibility to be available outside of normal business hours to meet the needs of the health system and services that require support outside of those bounds;
- Provide insight and guidance to the organization and partners on Enterprise Architecture governance practices and processes;
- Support a the development of a team of domain specialized architects (Network, Infrastructure, Data, and Business) to establish and promote core Enterprise Architecture principals and standards;
- Ongoing management support of the Technology Work Management Office, Modernization Plan, and IT Strategy;
- Researching new developments in computer technology and business practices to stay familiar with cutting edge trends.
