We are seeking a Master Data Analyst to join our Procurement Technology Team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Procurement Technology, you will be responsible and accountable for all activities related to master data including vendors, materials, contracts, finished goods, and semi-finished goods to support the business aligned to master data standards and data governance. You will be accountable to develop strategies for efficiencies and effectiveness, reporting, issue resolution as well as supporting all aspects and connection to master data.

This position can be located at our Corunna Site near Sarnia, Ontario; our Joffre Site near Red Deer, Alberta; or our NOVA Head Office in Calgary, Alberta.

**You Will Use Your Expertise To**:
Execute master data creation and maintenance pertaining to multiple master data objects in SAP S4/Hana, Ariba and other Procurement Technologies which includes but not limited to Materials Master, Vendor Master/Business Partners
Manage and prioritize data requests and data governance activities to meet business and project requirements
Develop, adopt, and deploy the data standards and business rules
Be instrumental in determination, update and/or alignment to the classification structure / taxonomy for master data and future classification requirements
Understand the various data flags and components of each master data object and how it relates both upstream and downstream SAP/Ariba processes and transactions
Understand and eliminate risk impacts of changes within the master data across all SAP/Ariba domains to ensure the integrity of the master data
Collaborate with geographically dispersed cross-functional business teams, including IT Analysts and Developers to address technical and process issues
Identify and engage with company business representatives for input into the various data governance activities and deliverables
Provide guidance related to Master Data including but not limited to data conversion design, MDM organization role design, and test planning activities
Prepare and develop data readiness activities to support go-live, upgrade, and/or improvement initiatives
Support the Strategic Sourcing team to develop and maintain pricing agreements in SAP S4/Hana and ARIBA
Ensure master data is in compliance with data governance policy at point of creation and through regular monitoring and cleansing of existing master data
Work with stakeholders to improve/automate business processes through the use of master data
Incorporate Procurement, Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability as well as Production requirements into creation of master data
Create and maintain internal procedures
Provide support for mass upload requests of master data
Track milestones and progress by developing and or providing weekly and monthly reports aligned to KPIs and continuous improvement opportunities

**What We Are Looking For**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Information Technology along with 1-3 years related experience and continued professional development OR 5-7 years combination of post-secondary education and related experience with continued professional development
Strong understanding of data management (governance, data quality measurement and management, security, metadata, integration)
Data migration experience supporting SAP S4/Hana implementation and upgrades
Technical background (mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, materials management, etc.) or ability to interact in a technical environment is considered an asset
Demonstrated experience in developing and operationalizing data-based guidelines, policies, procedures, and standards
Experience with ARIBA, Icertis, IntelliTrans Global Visibility Platform (GVP), TRACK, Service Master and Service Entry Sheets (SES) is considered an asset
Self-starter with the ability to balance multiple tasks, time and competing priorities to effectively complete tasks under tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
