Brandon, Canada Quarry Hills Excavation & Gravel Full time

Quarry Hills Excavation & Gravel Ltd. is one of Westman’s fastest growing commercial heavy equipment contractors; specializing in gravel, sewer & water, and earthworks. We take pride in providing efficient, reliable service and are currently looking to expand our team and fill the position of Project Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare quotes, estimates, costing (material quotes) for tender submissions
- Data entry into various programs to update project statuses
- Contracting various supervisors to collect data or missing information
- Create purchase orders/stay on top of purchase orders
- Prepare submittals and permits
- Assist with ordering of materials
- Provide scheduling support and keep current
- Locates and permits coordination
- Road closure plans
- Assist with updating the project plans
- Collect and compile documentation for time and materials projects
- Collection and distribution of documentation
- Assist and monitor payroll functions to ensure proper coding and cost allocation
- Assist with preparing progress invoicing and progress status reports
- Collaborating to create and improve policies and procedures
- Assist with load records and scale tickets
- Assist with product sales of Abase, Cbase, and Geo
- Assist with inventory records, T-sheets

Qualifications:

- Must be detail oriented and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Experience in the heavy equipment industry an asset
- Experience preparing quotes an asset
- Experience in a shop setting an asset
