We are currently looking to hire an experienced **Pharmacy Technician** for our dispensary team. Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Assisting in the day-to-day operation of the dispensary by completing full cycle prescription processing, including receiving verbal prescriptions, entering, and renewing prescription orders, third-party correspondence, as well as accurately dispensing medication.
- Performing technical checks on regular prescriptions and compliance packs.
- Administering Flu-Shots and COVID-19 vaccines.
- Device demonstration.
- Authorizing prescription transfers.
- Processing third-party billings.
- Managing data entry and recording keeping within Kroll and related systems as needed to maintain pharmacy files, patient records and medication registries.
- Inventory management of medications and related dispensary supplies.
- Answering phones and assisting patients.
- Pre-packaging medications (including dossette packaging), as needed.

Qualifications:

- Graduate of an Accredited Pharmacy Technician College Program.
- Licensed with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
- Strong computer skills and experience with Kroll software is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a variety of individuals.
- Organizational and time management skills are important as we are a very busy pharmacy.
- Strong work ethic and positive team-oriented attitude.

- pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
- Kroll: 1 year (preferred)
