**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced and versatile **IT Operations & Project Lead** to join our team. This pivotal role combines leadership, technical expertise, and project management to oversee IT service delivery, infrastructure administration, and client projects. You will collaborate across teams, ensuring high performance, client satisfaction, and alignment with organizational goals.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Team & Operational Leadership**:
- Lead and supervise IT/OT technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Oversee task allocation, ensuring timely resolution of tickets and adherence to SLAs.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide mentorship, and manage professional development plans for team members.
- Act as the escalation point for technical and operational challenges, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining high service standards.
**Service Delivery Management**:
- Ensure efficient IT service delivery, aligning with ITIL and industry best practices.
- Oversee client onboarding/offboarding processes, coordinating resources and timelines for seamless transitions.
- Monitor team performance metrics, generate insightful reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
**Project Management**:
- Plan, execute, and deliver IT projects on time and within budget, maintaining exceptional client experiences.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations.
- Use tools like MS Project to track progress, manage escalations, and ensure project documentation is up to date.
**Systems Administration & Technical Oversight**:
- Administer and maintain systems, including Windows OS, AD, Azure, and Hyper-V environments.
- Implement and manage server solutions, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
- Analyze recurring technical issues, identifying and implementing definitive solutions.
- Manage hybrid IT architectures (On-Prem/Cloud) and optimize infrastructure monitoring tools.
**Client Engagement & Vendor Management**:
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring alignment with IT services.
- Collaborate with vendors to optimize service delivery and ensure compliance with contracts.
**Compliance & Reporting**:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and manage regular audits.
- Develop and present reports on IT operations, project progress, and process performance.
**Qualifications & Skills**
**Education & Certification**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PMP certification and ITIL expertise preferred.
- Relevant technical certifications (Microsoft, VMware, IT Security, etc.) are a plus.
**Experience**:
- 4+ years of IT management, including MSP experience.
- Proven track record in project management, technical leadership, and client interaction.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, M365, VMware, and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell) and tools like Atera, Veeam, and Zoho.
**Skills**:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
**Additional Requirements**:
- Valid driver’s license for occasional travel to client locations.
- Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work.
