We are looking for a Production Coordinator on the day shift to ensure smooth operations at our St-Rémi plant. Reporting to the Materials Management Department Manager, your main responsibility will be to monitor production requirements in a manufacturing environment that encourages participative management.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Supervise a production team of approximately fifteen employees;
- Act as a leader in health and safety management;
- Identify opportunities and manage plant improvement plans;
- Identify training needs of production employees and plan training as required;
- Control the manufacturing process and achieve results in line with objectives;
- Plan and schedule production;
- Manage material supply;
- Plan monthly preventive maintenance;
- Lead team meetings;
- Embody ABB's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your own actions while supporting your colleagues and the company.

**Your background**:

- 2- 5 years experience in employee supervision (manufacturing preferred).
- Demonstrate leadership and ability to influence your team
- Autonomous, highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Ability to manage and resolve emergency situations and make quick decisions
- Ability to manage change and act as a change agent
- Ability to work as part of a team and to interact, communicate and collaborate with different members of the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Fluency in French, functional English is an asset.
