Rust Proofing Technician

**Krown Halifax** is an industry leader in automotive rust protection. We are looking for a seasonal spray technician to work in our fast paced, environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Drive vehicles in and out of the bays
- Clean and prepare surfaces for rust prevention treatment by removing dirt, grime, and existing rust.
- Use electric drill to bore hole into the body of the vehicle panels, according to Krown diagrams.
- Wash outside of vehicles while maintaining the interior cleanliness as well.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Previous experience in automotive maintenance, detailing, or a related field is advantageous.
- Steel toe boots
- Minimum of class 5 driving license
- Ability to work with attention to detail and maintain consistent quality standards.
- Strong physical stamina
- Must work Saturdays

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Moderate lifting and physical exertion may be required.

**Preference will be given to those with an air brake license.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Automotive work: 2 years (required)
