**Pedagogical Supervisor**

**Major Responsibilities include**:

- Supporting school staff with understanding the program of studies Kindergarten to grade 12.
- Supporting school staff with implementing 21st Century learning skills. Those skills include communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity.
- Provide guidance to school administration teams.
- Supporting schools with learning communities.
- Planning and delivering in-services to school staff as needed.
- Supporting school administrators and teacher with evaluation procedures and expectations.

**Assets include**:

- Experience with weaving First Nations, Métis and Inuit knowledge into the curriculum.
- Knowledge of communities Northland School Division serves.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of principles of Professional Learning Communities.

**Qualifications include**:

- Must hold or qualify for Alberta teaching certification and a Leadership Quality Standard certificate.
- A Master’s degree in education or equivalent/relevant graduate coursework.
- Has a minimum of 5 successful years of teaching experience in rural and/or Indigenous communities.
