We are seeking a skilled Network Technician to join our team. As a Network Technician, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's network infrastructure. You will work closely with our Network Administrator and IT department to ensure the network is performing optimally, securely and provide support to end-users.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement the company's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices
- Develop and implement network upgrades and improvements to support business
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network-related issues in a timely manner
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues
- Work with the IT team to ensure network security and compliance with industry standards
- Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams
- Plan and implement disaster recovery solutions for the network infrastructure
- Perform network capacity planning and ensure adequate network resources are available to support business needs
- Evaluate and recommend new network technologies and solutions to improve the network infrastructure

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related field
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Experience with network devices and technologies
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable in cybersecurity best practices

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- CompTIA Network+ or similar certification
- Experience with cloud-based networking and security solutions
- Familiarity with SD-WAN, wireless networking, and network virtualization technologies
- Experience in Fortinet
